The Proverbial Tortoise & the Hare

Dear Parents, there will be no more mid-year exams for Sec 1 levels in most schools soon. It is a good policy that will allow more time for our children to enjoy learning in school, and it will increase the time for our children to explore learning in a variety of ways within the classroom that do not necessarily need to be in the form of tests or exams. This is the right thing to do. With that, it will be more healthy for our children to be acquiring knowledge consistently, without stressing them to rush through the entire syllabus a few months before their Sec 2 Streaming exams. You may agree or disagree with me that it will be more practical to have them build their foundation, slowly and steadily, like the proverbial tortoise 🐒 that won the race, not the proverbial hareπŸ‡.

🐒Do let me know if we can help you. 🐒
